Gerda Hagner-Ramirez (Vocal Specialist and Associate Director)
Gerda Hagner-Ramirez started her professional career as an elementary school and middle school teacher. At the same time, her training in sacred music and her vocal training led her into children and youth choir work early on. As a soprano soloist for concerts and song recitals, she pursued a busy national and international concert schedule, working with renowned directors such as K.F. Beringer and Michel Corboz. Various recording productions complemented her career as a soloist.
In addition, she held a lecturer position at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim for many years. In 1997, she created the children and youth choir of the Stiftskirche Kaiserslautern and directed it successfully for 10 years. In 2008, she founded the choir "Ensemble d’acCHORd", which she is still leading. She is also in high demand as a choral voice specialist and vocal teacher.
